These quicker lunchtime snacks are satiating and amp up the comforting food experience.

  1. Chicken cutlets

Ingredients you need:     

  • 1 cup chicken (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons of cornflour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt (not heap-full)
  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper
  • Half a teaspoon of vinegar
  • Beetroot puree
  • Coriander 
  • Oil for frying

Procedure:

  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients well by tossing and turning.
  • In a pan, pour some oil for frying
  • Heat the pan on a medium flame
  • Form the round or oval shape of the dough
  • Start placing the cutlets in a pan 
  • Do not crowd the pan 
  • Shallow fry the chicken cutlets
  • Take them out when they turn golden on a serving plate.

2. Mini chicken popcorn

Ingredients you need:

  • 200-gram chicken 
  • 1 cup of crushed corn-flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • Peri peri seasoning
  • Cornflour 

Procedure:

  • Take small pieces of chicken and marinate them in a curd
  • Add all the ingredients 
  • Add little cornflour to bind it well
  • Take a deep frying pan and heat the oil
  • When the oil is warm enough, start frying the marinated chicken pieces 
  • Fry them till they turn a bit golden. 

3. Chicken Samosa

Ingredients you need:

  • Ground chicken 30 gm
  • One medium-sized chopped onion
  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric and coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1 green chili nicely chopped and deseeded
  • 1 teaspoon of garam masala
  • Fine quality samosa Patti
  • 1 cup of oil for frying

Procedure:

  • Take a larger pan and heat the oil
  • When the oil turns hot, add onions
  • Stir fry onions till they turn translucent
  • Add chicken and let it rest on the heat for 3-5 minutes on a medium heat
  • Now add all the spices and fry them for one to minutes
  • Take samosa Patti one by one and stuff the filling
  • Heat the oil in a pan
  • Place fewer samosas in a pan, so they get over occupied
  • Keep the flame at medium
  • Please take out the samosas when they turn crispy.

4. Crispy chicken strips

The ingredients you need:

  • Chicken breast piece (boiled)
  • 2 tablespoons of cornflour
  • Salt, pepper, and chili powder as per your taste
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup of bread crumbs

Procedure: 

  • In a bowl, add all the spices and cornflour 
  • Toss all the ingredients well
  • Crack eggs in another bowl
  • Take the chicken and soak it in the eggs
  • Coat the egg-washed chicken in a dry fusion of cornflour and spices 
  • Place the deep pan on the stove and heat the oil
  • Pit the strips in heated oil and deep fry them
  • Fry until they turn golden and crispy

5. Chicken Bites

Ingredients you need:

  • 250 grams chicken
  • 2 teaspoons of red chili
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons of ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • Salt as per your taste

Procedure:

  • Take a bigger bowl
  • Add all the ingredients and mix them will chicken 
  • Place a pan on the stove and heat the oil
  • Fry the chicken pieces until they turn tender and crunchier
