Chinese sweet & Sour chicken
Things you need:
- Thigh piece of chicken (almost 2 pounds)1 cup of pineapple chunks (canned)
- ¼ cup of pineapple juice
- ½ teaspoons of black pepper (ground)
- ¾ teaspoons of kosher salt
- 5-6 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- ½ cup of apple cider vinegar
- 2-3 tablespoons of ketchup
- ¼ cup of honey
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 scallion nicely sliced
- ½ onion medium-sized finely sliced
- 1 garlic clove precisely grated
- 1 green chili, deseeded
- Boiled white rice
Note down the method:
- Add cornstarch, 1 ½ teaspoon of salt, and pepper in a wider bowl and beat them well.
- Cut chicken into chunks
- Add the chicken chunks to the cornstarch blend
- Toss it well
- Place a nonstick skillet on the stove and heat 2 tablespoons of oil on a high flame.
- Place one portion of chicken and cook it up.
- When the chicken changes its color, turn off the heat
- Take another bowl and add honey, ketchup, sugar, ¼ teaspoons of salt, garlic, pineapple juice, soy sauce, and vinegar; stir them well.
- Dish out the cooked chicken on a plate
- Now repeat the same with the remaining chicken by adding oil.
- After 2-3 minutes, add pepper and onion.
- Keep stirring unless the veggies turn tender and the chicken is cooked properly.

Maple baked beans
Things you need:
- 1 pound of northern beans
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of salt or according to your taste
- 2 tablespoons of molasses
- 2 tablespoons of brown mustard (spicy)
- ¼ teaspoon of black pepper (ground)
- ¼ cup of ketchup
- ½ cup of maple syrup
- 2 bacon strips (a bit chunkier)
Method:
- Boil beans in the broader pan and simmer until they turn softer
- Warm up your oven to 300°F.
- Amass all the ingredients, excluding the bacon, and mix in the beans
- In a Dutch oven, put one bacon and drizzle the bean fusion on it

- Chili garlic sauce
- Tomato ketchup
- Chicken cubes

Method:
- Turn chicken into tiny bites
- Place all the ingredients in a pot for marinating chicken, excluding oil
- Let the chicken rest for half an hour
- Grab a nonstick pan and heat 2 tablespoons of oil
- Fry a half portion of marinated chicken on a high flame
- Turn off the heat when the chicken changes its colors and gets tender
- Dish out a chicken
- Repeat the process and stir fry the second half marinated chicken in oil
- Dish it out
- For Manchurian gravy, heat the oil in a pot
- Put garlic and red chili (dried red button)
- Add chili garlic sauce, chicken cubes, soy sauce, and ketchup
- Pour some water and mix them well
- For thickening the gravy, prepare the cornflour slurry by adding water to the cornflour
- Place the bowl of gravy on the stove and pour ¼ cup of water
